Will this make the engine heat up quickly as it looks like the mesh is quite small and is it easy to clean grass off the mesh

Cheers Kevin 5b and 5t owner

i have a 5b and have tried this mod, grass still gets through and clogs the pull-start/flywheel i guess if you are running in rocky terrain it is a good mod but for sand and grass i found that the outerwears crankcase and pullstart filters to be far more effective, i run in sand and grass mainly, sometimes dirt tracks which comtain stones and these seem to keep everything out, i swear by them.
if you run in mixed conditions you could do this mod with outerwears crankcase and pullstart filter over the top if you really want bullet proof protection.

    cheers
